DC Architect Jeremy Hatfield Elected Vice-Chair of Northeast IN USGBC

In December  2009, DC architect Jeremy Hatfield was elected to Vice-Chair of the Northeast Branch of U.S. Green Building Council – Indiana.   

Jeremy is a LEED Accredited Professional (AP) and leads DC’s sustainable design efforts.  The U.S. Green Building Council is a non-profit organization working to advance buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work.

DC President Pat Pasterick Elected to Fort Wayne AIA Board of Directors

The Fort Wayne Chapter of the American Institute of Architects recently elected DC President Pat Pasterick to Vice President and President-Elect for 2010.  The Fort Wayne Chapter of AIA serves approximately 70 AIA members across northeast Indiana.

DC Hosts Intern/Grad Open House

On Thursday, December 17th, Design Collaborative held an Open House for architecture, engineering and interior design students and recent graduates.  Twenty-three (23) students from 13 colleges attended the event.  Students and graduates were given a warm DC welcome, including an office tour and networking with DC interns, partners and associates.

DC Earns AIA Design Award for NIIC Emerging Growth Center

On Wednesday, November 11th, Design Collaborative received an AIA (American Institute of Architects) Fort Wayne Merit Design Award for the Emerging Growth Center (EGC) at the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center in Fort Wayne.   The EGC features a high-end Conference Center with flexible meeting space.  Ron Dick, AIA, LEED AP led the DC design team, including David West, Project Architect; Jason Baker, Mechanical Engineer; and Eric Sank, Electrical Engineer.   One Eleven Design was the interior design consultant on the project.
