On Friday, October 29, Design Collaborative mechanical engineer Jason Baker participated in a panel discussion hosted by the Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly. The networking breakfast focused on the new Indiana Energy Conservation code and some of its impacts on building design and operation.

American Red Cross Recognizes Design Collaborative for Blood Drive Efforts

The American Red Cross Indiana-Ohio Services Region recently recognized Design Collaborative with a “First Time Sponsor Award” for its efforts during the December 2009 blood drive. Many DC’ers came out to support the cause to help save lives!

Design Collaborative Makes a Field Trip

On Thursday, October 14th, the lunch hour was spent touring Hanning & Bean’s newest leased building… a corporate headquarters on the southwest side of Fort Wayne. The 80,000 sf building will be officially completed in the next few days so the DC associates were able to get a sneak preview. The DC design team, led by architects Kelly Shields, Tim Terman and Ron Dick, included Rich Busfield, Jamie Inskeep, Terry Wagner, Kevin Fenn and many others from Design Collaborative.

UIndy East Hall Featured in Learning By Design Magazine

DC is proud to announce that the University of Indianapolis East Hall has been recognized as an Outstanding Project for the Dorm/Residence Hall category in Learning by Design’s Fall 2010 Special Edition on Green Design & Technology. East Hall was built with Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC), a highly sustainable building material. The East Hall project team was led by Kevin Scully, Tim Terman, Jason Baker, Eric Sank, Jamie Inskeep, Brian Andrews, and Kelli Warner. Congrats to UIndy and the project team!
