Jeremy Koomler Participates on Design/Build Panel

On January 13th, DC Registered Architect Jeremy Koomler served as a panelist in a Design/Build Panel Discussion for the Indiana Construction Association. The panel covered many issues, including how designers participate in Design/Build and integrated design, construction safety, and improving collaboration between designers and contractors.

DC Celebrates 19 Years

On January 2, 2011 Design Collaborative celebrated our 19th anniversary. Many changes have occurred since then as you can see in the picture of our 3 founding partners, Terry Wagner, Ron Dick, and Pat Pasterick.

Eddie Merlot’s Louisville Restaurant Completed

On January 18th, the Eddie Merlot’s Louisville fine dining steakhouse celebrated its opening. This is the 5th Eddie Merlot’s restaurant, and the first venture for the restaurant in a downtown setting. There are two private dining rooms, two wine cellars, a wine cellar dining nook, custom art glass light fixtures, and stained glass chandeliers. The DC Eddie Merlot’s team was led by Ron Dick, Rich Busfield, Craig Scully, Kevin Fenn, and Jamie Inskeep. Congrats to the team!

Botanical Conservatory Café Opens

On November 23rd, the City of Fort Wayne held a Ribbon cutting Ceremony for the new Bagel Station Uptown Café in the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory. DC provided architectural design services on the project. The DC team was led by Ron Dick, Jeremy Hatfield, Eric Sank, Jason Baker and Rachel Mensah.
