IPFW Unveils ‘Sculpture With Purpose’ Project

In a press conference yesterday, IPFW unveiled their 50th anniversary flagship project—Sculpture with Purpose, a public art initiative that will enrich the city of Fort Wayne with sculptural bike racks. As an avid supporter of both IPFW and the local arts community, Design Collaborative has been one of the first area businesses to sign on as a decade sponsor, and we couldn’t be more excited to a part of this innovative project! Designing Your Workspace

Did you know your workspace can affect your company culture, employee satisfaction and even business performance? On Wednesday, our Business Development associate, Cathy Waggoner presented “Designing your Space” for the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce’s Marketing Summit which addressed these issues and more. Cathy, who is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers, also discussed workplace trends and the importance of aligning a company’s brand with their work space.

DC Partner Participates in Cookin’ Men Event

DC Partner and Electrical Engineer, Eric Sank showcased his infamous jambalaya last Saturday at the Cookin’ Men event hosted by Parkview Foundation. Eric and other local “chefs” prepared dishes for more than 1,000 guests to benefit the mobile mammography program, which provides mammograms to women who otherwise would not be able to afford them.

IWU Holds Cornerstone Dedication for Wesley Seminary

DC’s project team attended the cornerstone dedication ceremony for Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University last month. Held at the construction site, the new two-story building will include 21,000 square feet of floor space for classrooms, faculty offices and a multi-purpose gathering place for students to study and have fellowship. With this project, DC continues to celebrate its 18-year relationship with IWU, and we couldn’t be more proud!
