DC’s Annual Family Outing Event

Design Collaborative celebrated their annual Family Appreciation event this past Saturday at Parkview Field. DC associates and their families spent a night together enjoying the Tincaps, food, drinks, and the firework show after the game. And, the group was lookin’ good in their new DC20 shirts in celebration of our 20th anniversary!

DaySpring Groundbreaking Ceremony

To celebrate the beginning of construction on their new 20,000 square feet church, DaySpring Community Church held a groundbreaking ceremony with their congregation and design team this past Sunday. Located just north of Auburn, their new facility will include a 450-seat auditorium and variety of classroom, office and youth spaces. Construction is estimated to be completed next June. DC Hosts Healthcare Forum Event

Last week, Design Collaborative hosted its first in a series of forum events titled “Healthcare Facilities: Critical Concerns”. Hospital facility directors and managers from around the area came out to Parkview Field to learn more about safety standards in healthcare facilities including new changes to the Life Safety Codes and Selection Coordination requirements. Afterward, attendees enjoyed a night of food, drinks, and TinCaps baseball in our suite. Thanks to everyone who came out to make this event a success!

DC Employees Donate Talents for a Good Cause

DC is always willing to put their creative abilities to use for a good cause, especially when their work can help a client. A special thanks to Tim Terman and Matt Elliot who donated their time and talents for Turnstone’s “12th Annual Turnstone Board of Directors’ Gala.” Their bench was sold during the silent auction which helped Turnstone toward their goal of raising $370,000 to support therapeutic services!

DC says Goodbye to Natalie!

On Wednesday, a group of DC associates attended a lunch to say farewell to our architectural intern, Natalie Reinhardt. Natalie will head back to Ball State University next week to finsh her last year of her master of architecture program. We wish you the best of luck and keep up those Photoshop skills!
