DC associates had a busy weekend with several Three Rivers Festival events. Our very own street artists chalked up yet another incredible design on Saturday morning for Chalk Walk, which is held on Main Street in front of the DC offices. A special thanks to Jason Villarreal for coming up with the design “King Kong Strikes the Fort” and the rest of the DC crew who participated!
On Sunday, DC hosted our 14th Annual Egg Drop Eggstravaganza event at Science Central. 33 contestants of all ages came out to witness whether or not their contraption and egg survived the devastating descent from the roof of Science Central. Awards were given to individuals by age groups with the lightest weight contraption whose eggs successfully made it to the ground in one piece. Special recognition judges’ awards including most creative, most scientific, and most devastating crash were also given. Click here to read more about the event!
