Meri Everett participated in the American Cancer Society’s 2010 Relay for Life of Adams County last weekend. The event was held at the track at Adams Central Community Schools and drew 26 teams, comprised of 131 individuals. Overall, the event raised more than $75,000!! Of that total, $1,255.50 was made up of quarters which they used to line the track. That’s over 5000 quarters!
Meri’s team, Meri’s Angels – made up of friends and family who continue to help Meri through her fight with cancer, raised $1,205.00. Congratulations to Meri and her team for participating and helping fight back against cancer.
