The New Covenant Worship Center celebrated the grand opening of their new Impact Center addition on July 26, 2020. There was a 9:45am service with the ribbon cutting ceremony that followed at 11am.
New Covenant Worship Center began in 2004, serving as a church home for student and families based at the Primetime Community Center. In 2013, New Covenant moved to its new home on 3420 E. Paulding Road where it currently resides. The growing church is committed to connecting and serving the community, celebrating diversity and unity. As their outreach began to grow, the church needed more space for its flourishing congregation. Thus, began the addition of the Impact Center and renovations to the existing church. Design Collaborative teamed with Engineering Resources, Inc. to work on this project.
The new Impact Center is designed to be welcoming and a beacon to the community. A transparent façade denotes the openness of the church, and a beacon of light shines from the exterior at night. New meeting rooms, classrooms, a community space, a coffee bar, and more were added in the Impact Center. The center was designed to allow for more adult learning classes, community outreach, and additional classrooms for church programs and daycare.
“It’s a privilege every time we get to work with a client who shares our same passionate commitment to improving people’s worlds, and to see what is possible by working alongside them to better serve our community. New Covenant and the Impact Center have been that dream partner and we’re looking forward to seeing their continued success in our community.” – Nathan Woods, Project Manager.
