University of Indianapolis - East Hall Housing
UIndy’s East Residence Hall was designed utilized autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), a highly sustainable precast building stone made of all-natural raw materials that provides structure, insulation, and fire resistance in a single material. The four-story, 62,200-sf facility has 148 single-occupant suites with private access and a shared restroom, gathering spaces including a bistro and lounge, conference room, offices, and a Residential Director suite.
“They are good listeners. They provided what we needed vs. what they wanted to give us. They are not just trying to build a portfolio. They offer designs that are economical and efficient and also appropriate.”
Ken Piepenbrink, Former Director of Physical Plant, University of Indianapolis
